How to get to the Park?

The distance from Masindi Hotel to Murchison Falls National Park through the southern route Kichimbanyobo Gate is just 21km. It goes through Kanyiyo Pabidi Forest and it is the shortest route to the park. Have an early breakfast at the hotel and make sure you are at the park gate at 7am. 

Games Drives

Experience an early morning game drive along the Buligi, Albert, and Queen's tracks north of the River Nile. Enjoy a picnic at Nyamusika Cliffs while watching elephants and other wildlife. Remember to bring a guide for the best viewing at 0700hr and 1600hr. Wildlife sightings may include giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, leopards, lions, and antelopes. Boat Trip

When visiting Murchison Falls National Park, don't miss the boat trip from Paraa to the foot of the falls. You'll spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds like herons, cormorants, and fish eagles. The trip takes about three hours to the falls and back, or four to five hours to the Delta. Boat trips are at 0900hr and 1400hr daily, with special arrangements possible. Bring your bird book, binoculars, and camera for this half-day adventure.
