About Uganda

Uganda is a landlocked country in East Africa, bordered by Congo to the west, Sudan to the north, Kenya to the east, and Tanzania and Rwanda to the south. The country's landscape is diverse, including swampy lowlands, a fertile plateau with wooded hills, and a desert region. Lake Victoria, the second largest freshwater lake in the world, lies to the south and forms part of Uganda's southern border. The lake is the source of the Nile River, the second longest river in the world, which flows through Uganda.

Uganda is a country known for its diverse culture and vibrant artistic community. With over 30 indigenous languages from five different linguistic groups, it truly is a cultural mosaic. One of the most striking aspects of Uganda is the warmth and friendliness of its people.

Uganda experiences a moderate climate, with temperatures ranging from 16 to 26°C for most of the year (April to November). However, during the hotter months (December to March), temperatures can soar above 30°C.
