African Queen
The front block of the hotel next to the reception is named The African Queen after the movie that brought Katherine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart to Uganda. Hepburn stayed in Room 3 and Bogart in Room 5. The rooms are self contained and spacious. They are set up as Double or Twin rooms depending on your preference.
Hemingways
This block of rooms is named after Ernest Hemingway as it is a stone's throw from the Hemingway Bar and Room 8 is where he recovered after his infamous plane crashes by Murchison Falls.
Explorers
During the 1950's as safari tourism boomed the hotel underwent expansion to accomodate adventurers a new block of rooms was built.
Birders
This block of rooms is popular with bird watchers as the hotel has preserved the vegetation on the grounds which are home to rare species of birds including the Northern white-faced owl.
Family Room
This 2 bedroom house with living room offers privacy for a family or group of friends. Reconnect with your loved ones in a shared space.
Camping
Camp on our beautiful grounds which have their own showers and WC. Our grounds are well maintained and safe.
