Sleep, Meet, Eat and Leave From One Place
A group arriving at Masindi Hotel can hold its meetings, sleep, eat every meal, and drive out to Murchison Falls with packed lunches in hand, without moving between addresses. The park gate is twenty kilometres up the road. We have been doing this since 1923.
Four Things, One Gate
Most itineraries on this road split a group across a conference venue, a hotel and a caterer, and lose an hour a day to the gaps between them. Here the meeting room, the beds, the kitchen and the packed lunches are on the same six and a half acres, run by one team, on one bill.
Thirty rooms, twenty-nine of them bookable as the Masindi Suite takes two, and up to seventy-five people in a flexible arrangement of singles, doubles, twins and triples.
A hall for conferences, workshops and retreats, set up to suit the session rather than a fixed layout.
Buffets, plated meals and tea breaks from the Kabalega Restaurant kitchen, timed around your programme.
Made up in the morning so a group leaving early for the park, Budongo or Ziwa eats properly on the road.
Rooms for the Whole Party
Thirty rooms, twenty-nine of them bookable because the Masindi Suite takes two of them, and up to seventy-five people in a flexible arrangement worked out with you: singles for those who need them, doubles and twins for the rest, triples where a group is happy to share. Rooms are held together rather than scattered, so a delegation stays in one part of the property.
Rates for a group are quoted as a package with the meals your programme needs, whether that is bed and breakfast, half board or full board. Tell us the numbers and the nights and you will get it in writing.
The Hall and the Gardens
The hall is hired for the day or the half day and set up for the session in front of it, whether that is a conference, a training workshop, a board retreat or an AGM. Tea and coffee breaks are served alongside, and lunch is laid on in the restaurant or brought to the room, whichever keeps the programme moving.
For anything that belongs outdoors, the grounds and gardens are hired as a venue in their own right. Launches, team days, receptions and dinners under the trees have all been held on them.
Seating capacity of the hall, by layout.
Buffets, Tea Breaks and Packed Lunches
The Kabalega Restaurant kitchen caters the whole group. Buffets are laid on in several styles and chosen with you before arrival, and there is a full breakfast buffet every morning.
Packed lunches are made up in the morning for groups leaving early, which on this road usually means the Murchison Falls gate, the Royal Mile at Busingiro, the chimpanzees at Kaniyo Pabidi or the rhinos at Ziwa. Dietary requirements, vegetarian numbers and anything a delegate cannot eat should reach us with the booking, not on the day.
Tell Us the Numbers and the Dates
Send the dates, how many people, how many nights, whether you need the hall, and what the programme looks like. You will get a written quotation covering rooms, meals and the venue together, with nothing left to work out on arrival.
Use the form below rather than a plain email. It asks for the things a quotation needs, so nothing has to be chased afterwards and the figure that comes back is the real one.
Ask For a Quotation
Answer with numbers wherever you can and you will get a firm quotation back in one go, with no follow-up questions. Only the starred fields are required; the rest sharpen the figure.
